Abstract
Introduction
Business
communication system and network elements are important managing any business
operation in the current age organization for the businesses which are highly
IT oriented and require communication and network as their backbone. Managing
smooth business operation with high degree of flexibility and efficiency
current age organization should posses communication systems and network
elements which are technologically sound and upgraded so that leveraging on
technology efficient business operations can be managed in the organization
which would become added advantage for any organization in terms of managing
business operations with high efficiency.
Present
assignment concerns with the two organizations and would analyze impacts of communication
system and network element on the business operations managed by the two
organizations which are Cap Gemini and Exl Infotel. Cap Gemini is pioneer into
field of consulting and outsourcing and considered among the top notch
multinational companies in the world. Exl Infotel is a growing organization
which provides its services into the field of networking and telecommunication
domain for establishing proper communication network for business
communication. The two organizations has different business area of working and
there is commonality in the two organizations as both these organizations
require high degree of business communication system and network elements so
that smooth business operations can be managed in the two organizations.
Aim
of current paper is to analyze business communication and network system for
the two organizations as a technological consultant for the two organizations.
Based on the key findings for the business communication and network elements
recommendations would be forwarded in order to propose possible changes in the
business operations by managing communication system and network system for the
organization. Further business communication and network system would be
developed in order to develop competitive strength for the two organizations
depending upon the business domain and services provided by the two
organizations. As a management
consultant ABC Consultant Pvt. Ltd would be drafting a report which would
contain entire details regarding improvement into communication system and
network elements that would help two organizations so as to manage their
operations into effective way.
Ways to improve existing
communication and network system
In
order to improve the current communication and network system in the Cap Gemini
and Exl Infotel it is important to understand the current level of
communication system and network system so that implementation of proposed
system for the organization would not create any issues in terms of the
technology clash or lack of resources in terms of human resource of financial
resources for the organization. For Cap Gemini which is one of the leading
consulting business organization in the world it is important to have minimum
possible bottlenecks, to gather data centrally and to enhance data security for
the organization so as to maintain confidential data out of unauthorized
access.
For
organization like Cap Gemini which is having business operations around the
world and services are most important for the organization. There is high level
of security threat for the organization as customers as well as suppliers are
attached at the same server and due to big size of organization data
confidentiality is a major issue for the organization. Implementing cloud

for the organization. Managing business operations into efficient manner would
lead to best practices in industry such as JIT, BIC and customer delight. All

processes so that future benefits can be reap through current employed business

implementation of newly proposed ERP system but this can be achieved looking at
the benefits which organization can have through implementation of ERP systems.
Compatibility with existing
system
Considering
system compatibility for the implementation of new technology would be another
major decision for the two organizations as the existing system should be such
that it can make implementation for the newly proposed system easier and there
are no compatibility issues in the system. For Cap Gemini newly proposed system
which is cloud computing should be compatible with the earlier implemented
technology in the organization so that smooth transition can be made from the
existing system to newly proposed system and there are no data loss while
making transition from existing system to newly proposed system. Compatibility
should be considered in terms of the data security as there is threat of
security attack on the system while making transition from the existing system
to new system.
For
Exl Infotel it would be really tough task to make transition from the old
system to new system as existing system for communication is not technically sound
and require various modifications as compared with the newly implemented
technology. Hence Exl Infotel needs to develop in house competency for the
transition which is required from old system to newly implemented system.
